Perilous Paths

Mordavia: Perilous Paths was played on Sunday, 29th May. The first two scenarios were played, the third one could not be played due to lack of time. See comments on the game on the forum.

Background

To journey in the wilds of Mordavia in these dangerous times demonstrates either great courage or great folly. This event will chronicle three such journeys.

Participants may play in one of the three journeys, and will crew in the others. Each journey will take about two hours including preparation, briefing, and debriefing time. Both existing and new characters are welcome.

  • The first scenario will involve an attempt to rescue Captain Carlyn Blackhammer from followers of the Dark One. The player group for this mission is full, no more player characters are being accepted. The game masters for this game will be Steve Shipway and Ryan Paddy.

  • The third scenario is a quest under the leadership of the fairy Lord Magnu. Player characters will be mostly fairies and elves. This mission is open to more player characters, but they must have reason to travel with Lord Magnu and be approved by the game masters. The game masters for this scenario will be Alan Grant and Ryan Paddy.

  • The third and final scenario will involve a group of characters in the employ of Baron Eric von Braun journeying in the forest northeast of Dareen. This mission is open to more player characters, but they must have reason to travel with Lord von Braun. The game masters for this scenario will be Brian Watson and Ryan Paddy.

The first scenario will take place at J. F. Kennedy Memorial Park in Castor Bay, and the second and third will be at nearby Centennial Park.

While these journeys will be dangerous, to assume that everyone you meet is hostile and should be killed would be foolish and may make your missions difficult to accomplish. It will take both brawn and brains to survive and achieve your objectives.
