In the months since the King declared that all infants less than one year of age must die, the land has grieved. But none grieve more than the people of Hoven, who have lost both their children and their Lord, Baron Edreak von Hoven.

Five months since his death in the forest near Berium-in-the-Swamp, the ashes of von Hoven are being returned to Hoven to be preserved in the tomb of his ancestors in a state funeral. Nobles and commoners from across the land are coming to pay their last respects. You are among them.

You are finally approaching Hoven on the road through its westerly forest marches. Though your long journey is nearly over, your party is troubled. A sense of terrible foreboding chills you.

What to Bring		Your character's costume and equipment, a change of clothing and a towel in case it's wet, a torch for mages, something to drink, something to eat, a sharp mind.
Notes		Please can I have all character sheets in by the 27th of March. There are only seven openings for players, and thirteen openings for crew, so first in first served. The revised Mordavia rule system will be in place; all characters must conform to the new March 2004 Edition (not yet released) and gear must be purchased using the system in the rulebook. Existing characters can be used.
Risk & Reward		This game is rated as having Medium risk. That's about the same as a weekend game (in other words, we'll be surprised if everyone survives). Characters that survive will gain some advancement points

Players who are booked in for The Forsaken are invited to join in a warm-up roleplay on the In Character forum. This is a good chance to get to know each other's characters before the event.
