The Coronation of King Silvermoon

The Coronation of King Silvermoon was played on the 8th of May 2004. See Coronation topic in the forums to hear what the players and crew thought. Some photos of the game were taken, and will eventually be put up here.

Fortune has smiled up Prince Silvermoon, Keeper of the Ineffable Flame of Jurrawicca, Seeker the Ring of Poets. By his hand was the evil orc chieftain Slagnost slain. In doing so, Prince Silvermoon has made good his claim to the Throne of Jurrawicca.

Game Briefing

The call has gone out for all Elves, Faeries and Nobles to attend the coronation. Commoners are welcome, of course, but only if they attend under the auspices of a noble (as is proper and just).

The date has been chosen because of the heightened arcane energies it brings, and the venue is the fabled Jurrawiccan Lakeland, perhaps the most magical location in all of Mordavia. Attendance will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The are many magical beings to be found at this place, and a veritable wealth of reagents, arcane lore and other rare items to be gained for any adventurer as has her wits about her.

Already you have heard whispers of the treasures in store in Jurrawicca's Lakeland. The rewards for gaining even the smallest trinket are tremendous. This will surely be a night to remember...

Notes This game is a mixture or intrigue and action. There is no limit to the number of player or crew slots. The more, the merrier. Only Elves, Faeries and nobles receive personal invitations to the coronation. Note that other players will attend as members of a noble's entourage.

Nobles: Use the forum's In Character zone to gather your entourage.

Non-nobles: Use the forum to join a noble's entourage. Beware that nobles often have competing interests! The organisers will go over the entourage lists to ensure no one misses out.

The revised Mordavia rule system will be in place; all characters must conform to the new April 2004 Edition (not yet released) and gear must be purchased using the system in the rulebook. Existing characters can be used.
Risk & Reward This game is rated as having Medium risk. That's about the same as a weekend game (in other words, we'll be surprised if everyone survives). Characters that survive will gain some advancement points.
