Venue: Kiwanis Huia Camp, Huia, Auckland

“Second gift before the great slumber was the chosen humans, voice of the Gods.
Children of Skylda of the Runes.
The Gods mark they wear, eyes of Frigg, wings of Odin, claws of Freyja, fur of Thor, teeth of Loki, the scales of Hel, the horn of Eir.
To this clan a child of prophecy will be born, in the home of the shining ones.
On Sif’s harvest eve, a babe will be born.
With tides in her blood and a great destiny.
To become the mother to the changers of fortune and fate.
The shining ones shall feel her shadow.
The servants of ice shall find no escape.
Of Aesirs true servants her fate will shape.
Through the Mists she will find her age, to walk amongst Gods.
Her heirs will be her legacy and strands in the weave of time.”

On Asgard, our heroes came face to face with the gods they had worshiped for generations. The Gods showed a friendly facade - underneath they were not who they appeared to be, but instead shapechangers enslaved by the elves. Entering the dream world, the true Gods gave a message of death to their servants. As the seer had spoken, by the next moonrise the Skyldings would be dead. Emboldened by the faith of the Gods, our heroes removed the false ones, and secured the sleep of the true. And as the sun set on Asgard, so Elivagar fell to the forces of the shining Triandel, and into the lands of shadow.

All their hopes lay in Hel, who welcomed the slain into the safety of her realm. On the morn she guided them to the only ones in the nine worlds who could aid - the Weavers of Fate themselves. Amongst the roots of Yggradrasil, at the well of Urdr, the Norns had been taken captive by the ice marked Wylfings.

The Great Weave that held all fates in its threads is being unwoven, and the Skylding’s past - their history and very existence - is being unravelled and rewoven by the Wylfings. For the Skyldings to have a chance to defeat their enemies, and to see their beloved Skyldingheim once more, they must become weavers of fate and travel back into the distant past to secure their future and stop their enemies from conquering the day.

So now our heroes set sail once more, through the Mists of time itself. Back to where it all began. To a time where both Gods and mortals walked the worlds, when destiny was shaped, once friends warred for power, divine blessings bestowed and true love broken. And where the ancient enemy, the Clan of the Wolf, is even now trying to weave them out of time.

The dead Skyldings venture forth so they may breathe life once more, with only trusty Valka to guide them and the words of Skuld the Norn ringing in their ears:
“Tread lightly upon the threads of time.”

UPON TICKET PURCHASE you will be required to answer these questions, please also include them in your updates:
- Going into this game, what are the points in history you want to change, how and why.
- Top 3 things you would like a resolution for by the end of the campaign. These do not need to be big things like ‘kill Triandel’ or ‘fix the mist problem’, we know about those. We want to hear about the other things you want to get done, like any personal goals, interpersonal conflicts or smaller plot threads.
- At the end of last game, did you drink from the Well of Urdr.
