The story of the Remnants is that of survival following the near cataclysmic end of a nation.
Your job isn't to save the world, it's too late for that. No you just need to survive it, for while the the enemy at the gate was toppled, the city in which you lived is uninhabitable...
In Reikland, danger has always lurked outside the city walls. And now you're stranded on the wrong side of the wall.
The survivors, like yourself, are cast adrift in an uncertain world.
